My passport arrived yesterday!!
It took a little over a week from the day I applied at my local post office.
Every day I would go to travel.state.gov to check on the status of my application. Every day it said that my application had not been received. Even though they cashed my check.
Despite the fact that the passport is sitting on my desk, according to the U.S. Department of State website they have not yet processed my application.
*sigh w/ eye roll*
